During the mid nineties Clone Records was founded by DJ Serge. Now based in Rotterdam, Clone is specialized in all sorts of electronic dance music, but still manages to contain an experimental and underground attitude.
The artist roster includes talented artists such as Adult., Alden Tyrell, Dexter, I-F, Legowelt, Duplex, Drexciya, Elitechnique, Putsch 79, Marco Bernardi, Dijf Sanders, Kettel and many others. Besides Clone there are also a few sublabels: DUB recordings, Frustrated Funk, Frantic Flowers and Clone Classic Cuts.
This week a special podcast from Scott Grooves, a men well known in Detroit. He was a visitor of the first techno club in the world The Institute and he worked together with important artists like Kevin Saunderson, George Clinton and Roy Ayers. At 2008 he had a release on the Clone label containing the Coco Brown and La Riddum tracks.
