Brendon Moeller gaat de diepte in op DJB's nieuwste podcast. De in New York gevestigde dj/producer en voorvechter van de dubtechno variant mixte voor ons een exclusieve set met tracks van mannen als Jus-Ed, Pacou, STL, Quince en Spencer Parker. Download hier de podcast

Moeller, met een Zuid-Afrikaanse achtergrond, heeft een goedgevuld muzikaal C.V. opgebouwd in de loop der jaren. Hij speelde in diverse bands, was muziekjournalist en -leraar voor hij in de vroege jaren '90 naar de VS verhuisde. Inmiddels is zijn discografie indrukwekkend met onder andere een album op Francois K's Wave Music, Third Ear en Echocord. Hieronder kun je lezen wat we de komende tijd van Moeller kunnen verwachten.

DJB: Please introduce yourself?

Moeller: "Hi, my name is Brendon Grant Moeller aka Beat Pharmay and Echologist. I'm a producer/ DJ based in NYC."

DJB: What equipment/gear did you use to create the mix?
 
Moeller: "This mix was done in one take on a Macbook Pro running the lastest version of Traktor Pro and using the evolution UC - 33 controller.""
 
DJB: What is the concept of your mix?
 
Moeller: "No real concept behind the mix other than a bunch of great tracks I felt needed to be heard."
 
DJB: What is currently eating up your time?  

Moeller: "I am currently fine-tuning my live show for my Mutek performance as well as preparing for the release of a Brendon Moeller album called Jazz Junk Safari on Third Ear records as well as the release of the Beat Pharmacy Wikkid Times: versions & remixes album on Deep Space Media. My time is also eaten up being a husband and a father to my 3 year old daughter as well as preparing for the arrival of a son in July."
